This sculpture represents Goddess Bhudevi, the divine Mother Earth. Bhudevi is the divine wife of Varaha, an Avatar of Lord Vishnu, and serves as the representative goddess of Mother Earth. She stands on a hexagonal wooden pedestal, holding a blue lotus, known as Komud or Uttpal, in her left hand. The right hand may be positioned in the Abhaya Mudra, symbolizing fearlessness, or in the Lolahasta Mudra, an aesthetic pose resembling the tail of a cow.
