SDM Mangala Jyothi Integrated School is a premier institution with a mission of “Inclusion of specially challenged into main stream of Academics” , established in 1981 by Late Smt. Mohini Appaji Naik and at present run by SDME Society Ujire under the able leadership of Poojya Dr.D.Veerendra Heggade.

Mangala Jyothi situated at Vamanjoor with large campus of nearly 10 acres of land with all basic facilities. Nearly 350 students are studying in Kannada medium from KG to 10^th standard. Dedicated staff provides parental treatment to all equally. Different facilities like free transport, mid day meal, free books and stationeries etc. are provided.

About SDME Society

Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Educational [SDME] Society, Ujire® was established with the primary objective of making education accessible and affordable to the rural youth. With the hallmarked vision of inculcating Value into Education, at present, it manages 56 educational institutions from Kindergarten to Doctoral Studies in the state of Karnataka in India. Students with challenges like Autism, Hearing Impaired, Physically challenged, Mentally challenged, visual impaired and learning disabled are handled with care and true spirit of humanity. We have well equipped Speech and Hearing section, Physio Therapy Section, Autism Department, Art and crafts, Book binding section (vocational) for the benefits of challenged students with trained staff.
